Need
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) 34 million children have deafness or hearing loss, of which 60% of cases are due to preventable causes, primarily Otitis Media2 (OM)
When untreated Otitis Media can lead to:

Currently children do not typically receive objective middle ear screening in a primary care setting. 4
Screening for Otitis Media is quick, and painless with the main barrier to screening being cost of equipment for primary care clinics

Solution
Hearing Together is a 501 (c) (3) organization with the sole purpose of increasing rates of middle ear screening. We use donations to directly fund supply of equipment to pediatricans so they can implement middle ear screening protocols into their practice
For each $5000 raised we are able to provide one clinic with the equipment and training needed to start screening patient's middle ear status
Mission
Our mission is to ensure every child undergoes annual middle ear screening from birth through age five.
To achieve this mission, we’re striving to provide necessary education and equipment to existing pediatric settings.

We are a Colorado based 501 (C) (3) organization funded 100% by donations. All donations are used to directly fund equipment purchase and training provision to clinics.
